B V R Subrahmanyam who is currently working as Chief Secretary of J&K is likely to be shifted in the coming days and may get posted as OSD in Home Ministry and subsequently made the Home Secretary of India after Mr. Ajay Bhalla retires in the month of August.
Sh. B V R Subrahmanyam has completed 3 years as Chief Secretary in J&K and is known to be one of the most honest and upright officers in the Indian Bureaucracy. During his tenure as Chief Secretary Article 370 was abrogated by the Union Government and transition remained smooth.
